EMOT HOSPITAL
EMOT, founded by healthcare professionals in 1991, has transformed from a small 10-bed hospital into a reference hospital known in Turkey and the world today. EMOT, whose logo was designed by world-famous artist Abidin DİNO, has been operating as a respected institution based on teamwork and scientific principles for 30 years without losing its specialty as a branch hospital.
EMOT has adopted the mission of solving the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal system diseases and injuries under one roof. Scientific research, continuous in-service training and ethical principles guide EMOT. EMOT, which has continued to grow without compromising its philosophy since the first day, also provides high-level Orthopedics Traumatology and Hand Surgery-Microsurgery training to its young colleagues in order to train future specialists for a healthier society.
EMOT aims to grow exponentially with our employees and valuable patients who work as a team in the light of current developments in order to bring our patients back to society, their families and production in the shortest possible time with their physical and mental well-being and to transform our hospital into a health education center.
The first replantation in Izmir was performed in 1986 by Prof. Dr. Arslan Bora at the SSK Buca Training Hospital. Many hand surgery - microsurgery interventions and rehabilitations were performed under the name of the Hand Surgery Group in both Buca Training and private hospitals.
As a result of the increasing number of patients, it was decided to establish a structure similar to the Indiana Hand Center in America. In 1991, the 10-bed EMOT Hospital was opened in the Kahramanlar district of Izmir. In 1993, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kaplan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yalçın Ademoğlu joined the team and increased the strength of the hospital. In 1996, EMOT became a 62-bed hospital.
In 1999, the number of operating rooms and beds was increased and the physician staff was strengthened. Thus, EMOT, which grew physically, became the leading emergency Microsurgery and Traumatology center in the region. It reached an average of 3,000 surgeries and 10,000 polyclinics per year with elective cases. It rapidly progressed towards becoming the most reliable institution in the region and the country.
In addition to EMOT, EMOT Plus Hospital has become a reference hospital where all aspects of Musculoskeletal System diseases are diagnosed and treated under one roof.
